Code 128 Barcode Font

Code 128 is linear and supreme density barcode symbology responsible to encode text, digits, complete 128 ASCII character set ranging from ASCII 0 to ASCII 128 and many functions. Code 128 was designed by Computer Identics in 1981 and consists of 106 diverse printed barcode samples. Other names used for Code 128 are ANSI/AIM 128, Uniform Symbology Specification Code 128, Code 128 Code Set A, Code 128 Code Set B, Code 128 Code Set C, Code 128A, Code 128B, Code 128C and others. Structure of Code 128 barcode symbology
  • Start character.

  • Termination Bar (bar+space+bar).
Code 128 is available with three versions as follows:
  • Code 128 A contains standard ASCII symbols ranging from 00 to 95, digits from 0-9, uppercase letters from A to Z and control codes.
  • Code 128 B is made up of standard ASCII symbols varying from 32 to 127, numbers from 0-9, uppercase letters (A-Z), lowercase letters (a-z) and control codes.
  • Code 128 C consists of two numeric digits from 0-9.
